AICPA Spanish Hub

Leading a 5+ developer team delivering AICPA's Spanish-language member platform.

The AICPA Spanish Hub (aicpa.org) brought the American Institute of CPAs' member platform to Spanish-speaking accountants, delivered at Accenture as my first formal team-lead role.

The problem

A bilingual member platform for a major professional body, delivered by a 5+ developer team inside a SAFe Agile program with fixed cadences, so quality had to stay consistent across the codebase while the client got predictable progress.

What I built

  • Led the team day to day: sprint planning, estimates, managing deliverables, and keeping the client updated within the SAFe delivery cadence.
  • Code and performance reviews as a routine, coaching junior developers toward cleaner, more testable code.
  • Salesforce and AWS integrations connected into the platform through API integrations.

Stack

React Native, Redux, Node.js, GraphQL, AWS, Salesforce, Cypress, Puppeteer.

Impact

Consistent quality across a multi-developer codebase and a delivery rhythm the client could plan around, proof that the engineering standards from Emirates transfer to leading a team, not just writing the code.
